Ted Rigoni

Welcome to My Fine Art Photography Home!

I use the term "my fine art" as a headline, but the truth is that my fine art is not about 'me or my.' My work is about what I have encountered as an art photographer and how internal and external forces influence my artwork.

Externally I create imagery from the shared landscape of the American West. The backcountry, back alleys, and back-in-time places I capture reveal subjects that become themes. Internally I find that these places are more than 'place.' They are infused with significant ideas of abandonment, nostalgia, pattern complexity, and visions that are photography beyond the lens. My work is often at the crossroads of the native beauty found in our landscapes but also on another path that seeks to venture into more complex, more nuanced, and subjective themes.

Please wander around my fine art photography home. Explore the collections, and feel free to share your sentiments with what you see. Some of the art prints may be perfect for you to own, and I would enjoy sharing my work with you.

And finally, please stay in touch via my newsletter and blog because a new art photography project is always developing somewhere in the American West.

My Art Photography Collections

Whether framing the grandeur of colossal mountains or the delicate intricacies of thumbnail-sized metal, I seek to uncover art in places overlooked or deemed inconsequential. Within these collections, I share my fine art prints, substrates that transfer the digital into the tactile for collectors of my work.
